CARRIE MECARO

After more than 15 years of multidisciplinary design, Carrie Mecaro has turned her focus to historic and unique residences. As co-founder of the architecture and interiors firm, Community. A Design Collective, she has led countless multi-family, commercial, and residential projects throughout San Diego.

Carrie's focus on storied properties is a natural departure. The owner of a historic home in the Old Escondido Historic District, she serves as a board member for her neighborhood, as a Planning Commissioner for the city of Escondido, and on the Historic Preservation Committee.

At the core of Carrie’s work is a deep commitment to building meaningful relationships with her clients. She believes that every home tells a story, and by fostering trust and collaboration, she ensures that each project is a true reflection of the people who live there. Through thoughtful design, Juniper & 7th embodies both her professional experience and passion—bringing character, customization, and modern comfort to distinctive homes.
